These are the screenshots that I took while working on the cover page of my magazine. The software that I used for my cover page is Photoshop creative cloud. It is the latest version of Photoshop and very user friendly too.
This is the double spread of my magazine. This features an article which that talks about the new collection of a Pakistani designer named Amna Babar. The customer response of the collection is also breifly described in the article.
After changing a lot of thing like the background, the typography, the color scheme, I finally made something that I wanted. I added more contents, reduced the font size and changed the color, changed the puff etc. These things made the content page look much better than the previous ones. The previous content pages looked very amateur unlike this one.
These are my first attempts of making a content page. however, they were not up to the mark which is why i had to edit them. There were many mistakes in these content pages and the biggest of them all was the color sheme which wasn't according to the color palette that i selected for my cover page.
This is the final cover page of my magazine. it uses beige, red and white as the key colors. I have used different types of fonts to make the cover lines stand out.
I made a rough cover page to experiment with the fonts, colors and the background before i made the final cover page. This helped me understand the operations of Photoshop and also gave me a better idea of what wasn't right and how i had to use the conventions in the cover page of the magazine.
This is the background that I will be using on the cover page. The picture that I selected to use on my cover page is shown below. The expressions and the posture both are perfect for the cover page and is exactly what I wanted. However, i won't use the background of this picture. Instead, I plan on using a background with some pattern on it.
